Disney+ Hotstar has been a leading Streaming Platform in India giving good competition to international brands like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Over last few years, like Netflix, Hotstar too has produced some good Web Series. I have tried list to few of the must watch in this list.

The main theme of the story is about possible terrorist attack in India, and Secret Agents working as a team to stop the attack. Himmat Singh (who heads the secret agents team) character is well played by Kay Kay Menon and the supporting cast too is very strong ably supported by Vinay Pathak, Parmeet Sethi and Divya Duatta. It is an edge of the seat thriller, with each episode making you to binge watch the next episode.

This is actually prequel to the Special OPS, and story is mainly builds on Himmat Sings character. 
Abbas Sheikh (Vinay Pathak) is summoned by auditors to evaluate Himmat Singh's (Kay Kay Menon) career as his retirement draws near. The rest of series is about Abbas Sheikh narrating the story of young field agent Himmat Singh. It is again edge of the seat thriller like Special OPS and sad part is that it is ended in only 4 episode.

Hoping to Special OPS to return with Season 2.

Through Amrita’s investigation emerges a tender love story of trust, betrayal and supreme sacrifice, where we see a beautiful old-world romance of Rishi (Anshumaan Pushkar) and Manu, a Hindu boy and a Sikh girl in 1984. As the story progresses, secrets from the past about identities and relationships come tumbling out one after another.

It is a great story and anyone who has strong political views about 1984 Sikh riots must watch it.

Story revolves around how her lawyer Madhav (Pankaj Tripathi)  and his Assistant Nikhat (Anupriya Goenka) run around to get the truth out and provide justice to Anuradha. 

Those who like courtroom dramas should not miss this series. 

Aarya

The series is about Aarya (Sushmita Sen), an independent woman who seeks to protect her family and joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband's murder. The series is based on Dutch drama series Penoza. Originally this was planned as a movie, but due to casting and budgetary issues it was shelved and then planned as a web series resulting in digital debut of Sushmita Sen.

Season1 was released in June 2020 and had 9 episodes, and while Season 2 was aired on December 2021.

I have watched only Season 1, it had great positive reviews, and Season 2 had mostly negative reviews and I have given it a miss so far.

Hostages

Hostages is an remake of the Israeli series of the same name.

Season 1 was released in May, 2019 and had 10 episodes, while Season 2 was released on September 2020 and had 12 episodes.

Season 1 theme: Surgeon Dr. Mira Anand (Tisca Chopra) is scheduled to perform a routine operation on the chief minister Handa (Dalip Tahil), but the night before the procedure, her family is taken hostage and she is ordered to assassinate her unwitting patient in order to save her family, forcing her to make a decision.

Season 2 theme: The story starts a week after season 1. Handa is still under captivity and the whole crew is about to move to Nepal to perform the bonemarrow operation. When Handa tries to escape, an unexpected change of plan leads the team to take refuge in a dilapidated old mansion where shooting results in a hostage situation. When new players and motives behind the original plan is revealed more complex situation rises which Prithvi (Ronit Roy) now has to overcome including saving his daughter's life.
